An elephant and baby ride a bicycle as a small monkey pulls along. Cover to Puck's library, an American starical magazine from the November 1893. Art by cartoonist Louis W. Dalrymple (1866-905). Dalrymple published cartoons and illustrations in Puck magazine. Political cartoons had become so popular by the late nineteenth century that in New York, this weekly magazine was established (ca. 1876-1877), a colored comic paper in the German style with double-page political cartoons by Joseph Keppler, one of its founders, and other artists. There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
