A gorgeous vintage original poster for Monaco and Monte Carlo. One of the finest Alphonse Mucha poster, from the Art nouveau period. The young lady is enraptured by the bay of Monte-Carlo, encircled by hydrangea, lilas and birds. Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860 - 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter. However, he did a great many posters and prints. The period of his work has become known as the Belle Epoque. There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
